Tomoko Konoike starts a new project starting from Osaka Healthcare Pavilion at the Osaka Kansai Expo
Ten Wolf Benches by artist Tomoko Konoike were exhibited at the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion as part of the "Sakuya Wolf Project" organized by the Expo Sakuyahime Conference. Each of the ten Wolf Benches has a unique shape, depicting two wolves entwined together, and each has a different theme (animals caught during hunting, plants of the four seasons, stars and planets, etc.) and was created using new techniques and materials.
This project is part of Tomoko Konoike's "Medicine Infrastructure Project," and after the Expo, the Wolf Bench on display at the Expo site will be loaned out free of charge to people across the country who need the work.
